October is Fire Prevention Awareness Month. Make sure your family is protected!
This course will explore how the resource family can be "fire smart" and "emergency ready." Families will learn about conducting effective fire drills, using a fire extinguisher correctly, identifying potentially dangerous firesetting behaviors in children, and promote general home safety. Alaska resource families will also learn what the foster care regulations require of licensed foster families regarding fire safety.
