We would love to invite you to join our upcoming book club for resource families via Zoom, Reading Between the Lines! This is a great way to connect with other families, read a good book, and just take an hour to yourselves all with the perks of not leaving your own home! We will meet on Wednesdays on October 8th & 22nd and November 5th & 19th at 6:00-7:00pm.

Beyond Blood by Michelle and Ben Snyder — Authored by a social worker and her son, “Beyond Blood: How Being a Foster Brother Shattered My World and Rebuilt It” gives the reader insight into the world of foster care through the eyes of a biological child already in the home. Ben describes the wide range of emotions and experiences that come with foster care, including the challenges and sacrifices and the boundless growth and love his family gained. This is a must-read for parents or their tweens and teens considering opening their homes to children in the foster care system.
